The successful candidate for this role will have knowledge and experience of professional game design and development, be able to demonstrate a track record in design and writing for games, have experience of project management, and be able to work to deadlines. The post-holder will be able to work in an interdisciplinary and collaborative context, demonstrating practical problem solving in a mobile development context, coupled with excellent inter-personal skills.
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- An innovative approach to game design and the ability to come up with creative ideas.
- Familiar with at least one major game engine (Unity preferred).
- Technical ability in software technologies and programming/scripting languages.
- Narrative storytelling and creative writing skill.
- Proven development experience in game design and games writing.
- Proven project management and planning skills.
- Understanding of co-design principles, rapid prototyping and sprint methodologies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work to deadlines.
