As well as experience in working professionally with adults or young people in a supportive role, you will have membership of a professional body and qualifications as recognised within the
“DfE Mandatory Criteria” for Specialist Mentors . (The details of accepted professional membership bodies are on pages 8 to 12).
We are particularly interested in hearing from mentors who are qualified and experienced in supporting students with autism as well as mental health. You will be a confident and competent IT user with experience of using CRMs and applications such as Microsoft Office. You will also have a good knowledge of using and incorporating Assistive Technology (AT) within the mentoring session.
