As well as experience in working professionally with adults or young people in a teaching role, you will have membership of a professional body and qualifications as recognised within the
“DfE Mandatory Criteria” for Specialist Study Skills Tutors. The details of accepted professional membership bodies are on pages 12 to 17).
We are particularly interested in hearing from study skills tutors who are qualified and experienced in supporting students with autism as well as SpLDs. You will be a confident and competent IT user with experience of using CRMs and applications such as Microsoft Office. You will also have a good knowledge of using and incorporating Assistive Technology (AT) within the study skills session.
