We’re seeking a motivated Post Room Officer to join our team, providing essential support to campus users and security operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

Managing the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods across campus, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently.
Providing support to campus security, assisting with key-holding services, building security, and emergency response.
Supporting fire safety protocols, including weekly fire alarm checks, evacuation procedures, and inspections of fire safety equipment.
Offering first-class customer service by assisting students, staff, and visitors with queries and campus-related issues.
Contributing to safety and support services and assisting with car park management.
Playing an active role in the Emergency Response Team and providing first aid across the campus when required.

This is a varied role and represents a great opportunity to join a close-knit team. The postholder will be committed to presenting themselves professionally to all colleagues and customers, while representing Falmouth Exeter Plus.

About You

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organised, and take pride in delivering a high standard of service. You will enjoy working as part of a team and will be confident in handling both goods in/out services and supporting campus safety operations.

You will have relevant experience in a customer relations environment, and offering excellent customer service, good organisational skills and possess the ability to work without direct supervision.

We would like to hear from candidates who can also offer the following:

Full driving licence
Knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in report writing
Experience in a front line customer facing role

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week contract working 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
