About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SITS Analyst to work within the SITS Development team at Falmouth University. The SITS Development team are responsible for support of and development of the SITS:Vision student records system and SITS:eVision portal (known as myFalmouth) that is extensively used at Falmouth University.
 
You will be actively involved in the support and configuration of SITS: Vision and working with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process & development improvements. You will work alongside members of the SITS Development team to develop these initiatives through the development cycle from initial ideas though refinement & initial specifications to delivery & implementation to business as usual support. This will involve working with key members of the institution as well as external suppliers.
 
As a part of your work you will be involved in: 
 
  • Working with colleagues across Falmouth University and FX Plus IT Services to ensure the student records system provision meets University needs.
  • Developing, understanding and documenting existing processes and preparing proposals & options for improvement. 
  • Configuration & build of new functionality alongside related process improvements.
  • System testing, unit testing and guiding users in user acceptance testing.
  • Delivery of user training and creation of supporting user documentation.
  • Creation and update of standard operating procedures for use within the SITS Development team

About You

What do I need to be a successful SITS Analyst? 
 
  • Experience of working with SITS: Vision preferably in systems support, system administration or development setting.
  • Experience of SITS system administration & development tools which may include one or more of SRL, TUP, Batch Processing, SYP, Global Update, SRF, User Access Control, Role Groups, Tasks, Vistas, Project Manager, Process Manager
  • Knowledge of SITS client configuration, support and development.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies or agile development.
  • Experience of system testing, user training and creation of user support documentation and standard operating procedures
