About The Role

We are now seeking a Planning Analyst, who will play a key role in forecasting student numbers to support strategic and operational planning across the University. The role involves developing and refining models that track recruitment, enrolment, and progression, using data from admissions, historic trends, market intelligence, and policy.
 
Working collaboratively with Recruitment, Finance, Estates, and Business Intelligence, the analyst provides scenario analysis and insight to inform decisions on targets, budgets, and portfolio planning. They are responsible for translating complex data into clear, actionable advice for senior stakeholders and ensuring forecasts align with governance processes.

About You

The successful candidate will have a first degree or equivalent experience in higher education management, with a strong background in analysing and interpreting complex data sets (student, staff, financial) to influence organisational planning. They will be adept at extracting, analysing, and presenting large data sets, identifying key trends, and producing analytical reports for senior audiences.
 
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, as is experience presenting findings to committees and external stakeholders. The candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and skilled at managing and prioritising workloads.

This is a full time, 35 hours a week position across Monday-Friday. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2-3 days per week to be worked on campus.
