About The Role

We are seeking a creative and ambitious Learning and Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of Falmouth's ambitious plans for growth and development.

You will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of innovative and effective learning and development solutions that drive employee performance and engagement and build the talent pipeline at Falmouth University and Falmouth Exeter Plus. Such initiatives will closely align with our 2030 People Strategy which focuses on promoting collaboration and embedding a culture of Open Innovation among our working practices.

Reporting to the Head of Talent and Employee Experience, you will partner and influence senior stakeholders and HR colleagues to plan, develop and deliver learning interventions and change programmes to strengthen organisational capability and individual skills. These interventions will ensure that staff at all levels, particularly leaders and managers, have the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to deliver our strategic goals.

About You

Importantly you will bring new ideas and challenge conventional thinking, be highly analytical with the ability to use data to identify themes and trends and be able to translate concepts into workable best-fit solutions for the organisation.

If you are excited by the opportunity to join an innovative organisation and help drive growth by putting people at the centre of what we do then we would love to hear from you. If you would like to have an informal discussion about this opportunity ahead of applying, please contact Mark Smalley, Head of Talent and Employee Experience, by email at [email protected]

In return for your hard work and commitment, we offer excellent facilities and benefits to our staff. These include a competitive salary, generous holiday entitlement of (35 days plus public holidays), a very strong pension and career development opportunities. Full details regarding our employee benefits can be found on our Careers Site.
