We’re now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Digital Development and Support Team as a Senior Systems Support Officer. This position will play a pivotal role in the technical development, data management, and support of the University’s new Loan and Sale system, currently Smarthub by Siso. Part of the Digital Experience department and working closely with our Technical Facilities, you'll be an integral part of a passionate project team delivering the remaining year of this project and you will then be responsible for supporting and continuing to develop and manage the system and associated technologies.
You will work closely with our centralised support team who provides first line support, and with the University’s Technical Facilities and other key senior stakeholders to influence the roadmap and strategy for the continuous development and improvement of our Loan and Sale system.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data held in the Loan and Sale system, the core configuration, all system integrations, and the co-ordination of data input including the overseeing any data input by staff through data quality monitoring. You will support colleagues and power users with their usage of the system and will provide essential training. System specific training will be provide. This role is part of the wider Digital Development and Support team, offering great development opportunities across digital services in the areas of technical support and development.
