About The Role

We are currently seeking an Investment Support Administrator, who has great administration and organisational skills to join our investment team. The team are responsible for the development and delivery of Falmouth University’s venturing activities, helping to position the organisation as a future-facing, ambitious hub of creativity and innovation.

The role offers a fantastic opportunity to get hands on experience in an investment environment and will involve exposure to a variety of exciting projects and initiatives. You will work with university leadership and senior colleagues to assist in the efficient operation of our venturing activities.

About You

The successful candidate for this role will need to be a pro-active "team player" who is a strong co-ordinator and hard-working who actively plays their part in continuing to make Falmouth University an exceptional place to work. It's a fast-paced environment, and as such we are looking for people who have the energy and agility needed to ensure that we execute our ambitious plans.
 
Alongside these core qualities, you’ll be an outstanding administrator who enjoys organisation and attention to detail.
 
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
 
  • Detail orientated, highly organised, and proactive.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and confidentially, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and experience of working with a wide variety of computer systems and packages.
  • A good sense of humour, dedicated and hardworking.

This is a fixed term for 12 months, full time, 35 hours a week position.
