We are seeking a dynamic Student Programmes & Achievement Officer to join the SPA team to help us continue to provide an excellent student experience. The key purpose of this role is to support the effective planning and operation of the University’s systems for the collection, storage, processing, reporting and analysis of all data relating to the student assessment journey.
SPA sits within the Academic Innovation and Quality Directorate and manages the central source of information for the Institution on all formal student assessments, including scheduling and publishing of due dates, submission methods and recording of marks. This includes day to day administration and oversight of submission links for academic departments, Assessment Board processes, student results release and the production of student transcripts and award certificates. SPA are also responsible for managing the Extenuating Circumstances process and dealing with EC applications from students.
The team also manage assessment and student outcome queries from academic teams and students for both on campus and online courses and aim to offer the highest quality professional services to students, staff, and external stakeholders.
