About The Role

We are looking to recruit an Online Tutor to join our BA Hons Illustration (Online) team in the School of Art. Your role will involve working on one of two modules that run across stage 4. They will introduce students to ideas around narrative and storytelling as well as editorial illustration, while continuing to build on their visual language development. Topics covered may include looking at the working practice of illustrators both from a commercial and authorial viewpoint. Furthering understanding of digital and analogue media and process will also continue.

The module content is already recorded, the online tutor leads discussions and reviews students work in weekly tutorials and webinars. Students engage with pre-recorded content that has been created by module leaders in the virtual learning environment and work through this during the week in their own time and come together to meet their online tu-tor for live sessions.
