Falmouth University's ambitious
2030 Strategy, ‘Doing it for Real’, is designed to deliver yet further growth in our student numbers and income through portfolio diversification, innovation, research and commercial ventures. It will establish Falmouth as the market leader for creative industries and entrepreneurship education over the next decade, capitalising on our considerable assets in innovation-led research and business incubation.
To help deliver our 2030 Strategy, we are now looking to recruit a
Course Leader MA Creative Events Management to join our Cornwall Business School. Cornwall is home to a wide range of exciting events and festivals, with a vision to be a place where businesses thrive, and people enjoy an outstanding quality of life. Falmouth University and Cornwall Business School share that vision and offer a range of business and experience design degrees at PG level; including our successful MA Creative Events Management, which is delivered on-line in partnership with Cambridge Education Group Digital. This course also includes two innovative ‘hard-wired’ short courses which are delivered in partnership with A Greener Future and Attitude is Everything.
The successful candidate will lead the course and teach across several modules, drawing upon specific expertise in the field of events management. You will efficiently plan and deliver the course within the context of the subject area, supporting the Head of Subject and ensuring effective deployment of staff, to facilitate a positive student experience. The post holder will act as the face of the course, both internally and externally. In addition, you will play an active role in helping our students succeed, always willing to support individuals to help them achieve their full potential.
