Caretaker

Falmouth Exeter Plus are seeking to recruit two full-time, Caretakers to join our team at the Penryn campus to provide a high-quality caretaking service. The caretaking department is responsible for a variety of duties to ensure that the campus buildings and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard. These duties include waste and recycling management, porterage duties and daily cleaning tasks.

 

The successful applicants will ensure that the allocated duties are completed within deadlines and to an expected standard in line with service and Health and Safety requirements. It is a varied role across both campuses and represents a great opportunity to join a close-knit team. We are looking for candidates who have experience in dealing with waste management and general porter/ caretaking duties, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills. Alongside, these key skills we are looking for candidates who have a flexible approach to working hours and a good level of general fitness.

These positions are offered on a permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week contract working 5 out of 7 days, including some weekend working on occasion.

 

The shifts are 07:00-15:00 & 10:30-18:30 these will be on a two-weekly rotation. Weekend work will be no more than 1 in 4 weekends.
