We are seeking Specialist Mentors to support the academic progress of students at both Falmouth University and University of Exeter (Cornwall campuses).
This role involves providing mentoring to students with various and sometimes complex conditions including Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and mental health conditions. As part of this role, you will build professional working relationships with a caseload of students combining a person-centred approach with an understanding of the student’s condition, to support them with their academic progress.
An important additional aspect of the work is efficient use of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to communicate, book appointments and record sessions with students.
This role is campus-based, but you may be required to work with students online when this is their preference.
This post is offered on a casual, hourly-paid basis, but we are particularly interested in hearing from people who could offer a minimum of 10 to 12 contact hours per week during term time.
