The ideal candidates will have experience of delivering in-sessional language skills support in a UK Higher Education environment and experience of teaching groups and providing 1-1 support at all levels of study and research. They will thrive on working and collaborating in complex environments and will have a flexible approach and a willingness to embrace new technologies and relationships. Alongside these key skills, we are looking for candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Demonstrable experience of designing engaging learning resources and delivering innovative teaching
- A strong interest in helping students reach their potential and an understanding of the international student experience in the UK
- Adaptability and an ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative

There are two positions available with a preferred start date of 15 September 2025:
- Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week for 39 weeks
- Fixed term to 1 September 2026, full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Both positions are based on the Penryn campus in Cornwall with teaching and one to one support predominantly in person.
Due to the nature of the role, you will also be required to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service Check.
