We are seeking someone with demonstrable experience of teaching/supporting students in Higher Education in one or more of the relevant professional specialisms: learning development/study skills, information and digital literacies, English for academic purposes.
Alongside this, you will bring excellent people management skills, with the ability to develop colleagues’ practice and uphold quality standards. A sound understanding of pedagogy in Higher Education, including in an online environment, is also essential.
The ideal candidate would have the following skills/experience:
- Experience of managing, motivating and developing others to achieve high standards
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance competing demands, anticipate challenges and resolve issues effectively
- Experience of developing and implementing student-centred services, using evidence to inform decision making, monitor impact and ensure quality is maintained.
- Adaptability and resilience, with a commitment to continuing improvement and innovation

This post is offered on a 37.5 hour a week, full time, permanent contract working across Monday-Friday. You will be required to work at our campuses at Falmouth, Penryn and Truro.
This is a fully campus based role and remote working cannot be supported.
