The Academy of Music and Theatre Arts (AMATA) at Falmouth University’s Faculty of Screen, Technology, and Performance is seeking to appoint Associate Lecturers with excellent subject knowledge and professional experience in one or more of the following areas: music business practice, vocal practice, songwriting. Up to three appointments will be made, depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidates.
Music at Falmouth comprises BA (Hons) Creative Music Technology, BA (Hons) Music, BA (Hons) Music Business, BA (Hons) Popular Music, BA (Hons) Sound Design, and our courses seek to empower and produce artists, entrepreneurs, and music and sound professionals who will shape the future of music and the creative industries. Our approach integrates creative practice with theoretical inquiry, ensuring students receive a rich, holistic education grounded in the latest developments across diverse fields within music and sound studies.
AMATA staff and students work in a purpose-built performance and studio complex that operates as a professional venue, a research hub, and a production facility, attracting world-class artists and industry professionals, and hosting artist residencies and a year-round public programme.
