Online Tutors are vital to the success and vibrancy of our online courses. They are a constant presence in the module, the first point of contact for students’ academic enquiries and supporting their learning activities.
As the Online Tutor you will deliver live sessions such as webinars, workshops or tutorials each week to a cohort of students. Around these live sessions you will be responsible for topic discussions, and academic guidance via emails, one to ones and an online learning space. You will work closely with the course leader and module leaders to ensure best possible student experience.
The hours for this role are flexible and spread throughout the week as agreed by your line manager. The flexibility of this role means that you can fit the hours around existing responsibilities. The role compliments individuals who have freelance careers or other teaching commitments. Each online tutor is responsible for no more than 30 students, making this an extremely rewarding role.
The Online Tutor for this module will be allocated 160 hours to support up to 30 students with learning, assessment and feedback, working September 2025 to January 2026.
